It is not an overwhelming job, if it is followed by few simple strategies. If you desire and will to be familiar with all the particulars about auto shipping well in advance, it will save lot of your time and keep aside from the unnecessary hassles.

A few auto shipping corporations may allow the service users to send 50lbs. of personal stuff to be reserved in the trunk of your car. However please try to realize that the transporter insures the car only, and you are not authorized to complain for any loss or damage if it occurs on the personal items. It is always better to remove car phones, cassette decks, racks, garage door operators, radios, and CD players before the transporter comes to pick up your vehicle.

It is a thumb rule that each automobile which is been shipped have to be insured apart from your own insurance plans. You can confirm the details of insurance from your auto shipping company’s terms and conditions and from the pickup bill of lading. Many transporting companies will insist for a deposit when you are placing an order.

Ensure that you are dealing with a re-owned and trustworthy company. To get confirm with the validity of a transporter’s vehicle you can contact your local Better Business Bureau for this purpose. When a carriage has been allocated for transporting purpose of your vehicle, the person will be informed about the pickup. Transporting company will complete the formalities of bill of lading and a copy will be handed over to you. Please make sure an entire scrutiny of your automobile has been carried out. Sign the inspection report only if the complete scrutinies takes place for your vehicle and also see to that your automobile is safely placed in the trailer.

Once your vehicle reaches the destination owner of the vehicle will be contacted before the vehicle is been delivered. The call will be purpose for the re inspection once it reaches the said destination but before the delivery. After getting confirmed the owner will be signing the documents and the remaining due will be paid. If any damage has occurred in your vehicle then you can claim from the transporting company for that and get reimbursement of the amount.

Usually the delivery of the vehicle takes place in the promised date but this might vary as the reason may be unpredictable events, accidents, climatic conditions, road conditions and unavoidable delays. It is recommended that you begin the process of placing a shipment order not less than one month in advance in order to receive your vehicle in the desired date. Most shipping companies will offer two types for the shipment purpose open or closed carriage type. And choice will also be given for door to door service or spot pickup and drop service. Decide which option to go for safeguarding your vehicle.

Weather April showers by properly preparing your vehicle. Tires Plus tells us some important parts of Spring vehicle maintenance.

(NewsUSA) – While it may be true that April showers bring May flowers, rain also creates wet roads and low driving visibility. To better weather the spring storms, Tires Plus recommends the following:

Keep The Pressure On.

Now is the time to pay close attention to your tires. Regularly check your tires for proper inflation, rotation, repair and replacement. Checking tire pressure is important; both under- and over-inflation lessens a tire’s gripping action. Further, rotating your tires can help correct irregular tire wear. Enlist the help of your local automotive technician in order to select a tire made for wet-weather driving and enhanced traction.

Wipe Away The Problem.

Take a few moments to check your windshield wipers; they don’t last forever. If the rubber feels rough or is cracked, replace the wiper blades — in most climates about every six months.

Take Tread Seriously.

Familiarize yourself with the “penny test” as a way to check your tire tread. Insert a penny in the tread with Lincoln’s head down. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, the tread is worn, and the tire probably needs to be replaced. Your passenger tires should have at least 2/32 inch of tread depth; anything less is hazardous on the wet roads.

Avoid Potholes.

Hitting a pothole can damage your tire and/or the wheel of your vehicle. The sharp impact can cause immediate tire/wheel failure or internal damage that can lead to tire failure weeks later. Keeping your tires properly inflated will help reduce pothole damage and other road hazards.

Whether you are preparing for a long-awaited spring vacation or just everyday driving, don’t forget to properly prepare your vehicle to weather any storm. Take every precaution while on the road, and when experiencing wet road conditions remember to keep in mind that stopping distances will be longer than usual. And, finally, do not forget that proper vehicle maintenance can help your car stay newer longer this spring season.

This question has been evading us since a long time, and it is high time that we realize that by saving gas we are saving nature’s precious resource. There are numerous benefits arising out of our decision to convert our gas car to electric. As compared to the traditional gas vehicle, an electric car uses electricity instead of gasoline.

Let us list down some important reasons which justify conversion of an electric car to a gas vehicle.

•	Acquirement: Purchasing an electric car is relatively more inexpensive than buying a traditional one. The most expensive part of an electric car is its batteries but that is a minor issue while comparing it with the conventional ones. Also, if one already has an old car, he/she can easily convert it to an electric one by putting in a few hundred dollars and a DIY electric car kit.

•	Fuel: Gas prices have been on a rise gradually and this is the major concern with traditional cars. The fuel expenses per month on an electric car turn out to be much less than on a gas car. Traditional cars use only 20% of the energy in every liter of fuel and the rest is expelled as waste.

•	By Products: Conventional cars cause air pollution which has become the primary cause of respiratory diseases, eye problems and more importantly global warming. As compared to gas cars, the electric ones do not emit any pollutants to the air and help in keeping the environment pollution free. That is the main reason why electric cars are known as “ZEV’s”- Zero Emission Vehicles.

•	Efficiency: Electric cars are logically known to be faster than the traditional ones as they weigh less. This is due to the absence of certain internal combustion powered, heavy parts.
